Our Privacy Commitment
- We will never sell or share your personal details or project data with third parties for marketing or commercial purposes.
- All your data is under your control. You can permanently delete all of it at any time from your account settings — no questions asked.
- No credit card details are stored on our servers. All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
What We Collect
To provide our service we collect only what is necessary:
- Your email address (used to identify your account)
- Property addresses you look up
- Project details you enter (type, cost, building class)
- Documents you choose to upload for tracking purposes
- Feedback you voluntarily submit
How We Use Your Data
- To generate your approval cost and requirements assessment
- To save and display your past assessments in your dashboard
- To improve the accuracy of our fee and compliance data
- To contact you about your account if necessary
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond delivering the ApprovalAssist service.
Data Retention & Deletion
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may delete all your data at any time:
Dormant accounts — accounts with no login or purchase activity for more than 12 months may be removed. We will send a courtesy email before any removal to give you the opportunity to log in and keep your account.
Log in and visit Account Settings to permanently delete all your data.
Payments & Security
Payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. ApprovalAssist never stores, processes, or transmits your full card number, CVV, or banking credentials.
Terms of Use
By using ApprovalAssist you agree to the following:
- All cost estimates and compliance information are indicative only. Always confirm requirements with your local council, certifier, or a qualified professional.
- ApprovalAssist is not a licensed building certifier, planning consultant, or legal adviser. Nothing on this platform constitutes professional advice.
- You are responsible for verifying all information before making decisions or commitments relating to your building project.
- ApprovalAssist accepts no liability for losses arising from reliance on information provided by this service.
